In this role, you will provide essential support and services to students, helping to foster academic achievement and personal growth. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student receives the appropriate care and instruction. Responsibilities: - Provide direct support and services to students based on individual needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student development and well-being
- Assist in implementing behavior or educational plans as needed
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in meetings such as IEPs, team meetings, and family conferences, providing insight into student performance and needs
Qualifications: - Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Current Illinois Social Work License (Licensed Master Social Worker - LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred
- Experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of behavioral, social, and clinical methodologies relevant to school social work
